For some types of coupons, such as Pick Quantity, you will want or need to create Coupon Groups containing the couponed items.


  1. Go to Tools, Edit Groups.
  2. Press Add to create a new group.

  1. Enter the Name of the Group.

  1. Add UPCs to the Group. Type in the UPC. As you type, a list of UPCs meeting that criteria will be displayed in a drop-down.


  1. Or, press the Ellipsis button to open the Search Products form. You can search by UPC, Description, Mix Match code, Vendor, Department or Section.
  2. In the example on the right, the search criteria are Description, Sandwich.
  3. When searching you can use the Number, for example, the Department Number, or the Name. The results are displayed in the grid.
  4. You can select one or more items. Press CRL > Click to select more than one item, or Click on one item, then press Shift > Click to select a list of items.
  5. Press OK.

  1. The Coupon Group Editor will now display the selected UPCs.

  1. Press the Add button to complete adding them to the group.
  2. Click on the X to the right of the item if you want to remove it from the group.
  3. If one or more items in the group are required, put a check mark in the Required box. The customer will be required to purchase that item or items to receive the discount.
  4. Press Save when you have finished creating the Group.
