The Delivery PLU is used to automatically print a receipt that displays the customer’s address for home delivery service. Enter the PLU in this field (default is 9988).

You must also create a product for this PLU. Go to Product Maintenance and add a new product. Enter 9988 (or the number you create) in the UPC field. Enter Delivery Fee in the Description field, and the price of the delivery service in the unit price field.

You must also enter the customers’ addresses in Customer Maintenance to use this feature.

On the front end, enter the customer ID. Ring up the groceries. Enter the Delivery PLU. The receipt will print out with the customer’s delivery information displayed in bold print.
