The Product Quick Edit is a user customizable form to support editing of products. The fields displayed on the form are defined using the Templates Maintenance function in the Administration menu. If a template is not defined, then default fields are displayed.  The default template for Quick Edit does not allow changes to be made.

Templates are user specific and the template selected is based on the user’s password. This functionality provides the ability to customize the product data maintenance function to be specific to a user or group of users. The template name will be displayed at the top of the form.

From the Point of Sale Icon select the Product Quick Edit task from the Products section of the menu.

  1. Select the Template from the Product Template from. Only templates available to user signed on are displayed.
  2. Enter the Product UPCUPC_code code.
  3. Edit in the appropriate fields for the product and press the SaveSave button
  4. Complete for each product you wish to edit.
  5. Press the CloseClose button to return to the main menu.
