The Quick Add Templates are used to define the fields that will be displayed when the Quick Add form is used.


  1. From the Administration Menu select the Template Maintenance task from the Maintenance menu.
  2. Click the Add a Template button on the toolbar to define a template.
  3. Select Quick Add from the Template Type drop down
  4. Type in a template name and description.
  5. From the Products Field column flag the fields you wish to display on your template. Flag the Display Only field for each field you wish to be display only.
  6. Flag one or more employees from the employee list.
  7. Press the Save button from the toolbar.
  8. Press the Exit button to return to the main menu.

To edit a template, double click the template name from the template list box and make your changes. Press the Save button from the toolbar to save your changes.

To Delete a Quick Add template, select the template from the template list box and press the Delete button from the toolbar.

Note:  Products added via the Quick Add function take on the products department attributes by default.
