Reset Frequent Shopper Points
The Reset Frequent Shopper Points task allows you to reset the points for all your customers. At some point you may want to reset set the Frequent Shopper Points for all your customers. For example, you may want to run your promotions programs for specific time ranges, or start a new promotion.
To Reset the Frequent Shopper Points:
- Select the Reset Frequent Shopper Point task from the Customer menu then click OK.
- Enter the Reset Point ValueReset_Point_Value in the Reset Point Value field and press OKOK_to_Reset_Point_Value.
- To cancel resetting Frequent Shopper Points press the Cancel Cancel_resetting_Point_Valuebutton.
All points will be set to the value entered in the Reset Points Value field. Since this function cannot be undone this task should be assigned only to selected employees (via Profile Maintenance) to prevent the points being reset by mistake.
Tip: Customer’s Frequent Shopper Points can be reset for an individual customer by pressing the Reset Frequent Shopper Points from the toolbar in the Customer Maintenance task.
