The Print Labels form is to print Retail shelf labels for products that are ordered from a distributor or for products that are delivered by vendors. You should print labels whenever you have a price change or you have added new products.

From the Point of Sales Menu:

  1. Click on Print Labels, under the Products Menu. The Label Selection box displays.
  2. Highlight the Type of LabelTypes_of_Labels_2 you want to print in the Select Labels box.
  3. Click OK. The Verify Labels preview displays after the system has prepared the labels.
  4. Verify that labels have the correct information. Return to Edit a Product Edit_a_Productto correct the price if necessary.
  5. Load labels face down with the bigger labels toward the front in the appropriate paper drawer/tray of your Windows compatible printer. (See instructions for your printer if needed)
  6. Verify that the labels are loaded correctly and close the printer drawer.
  7. Click on the Print button in the preview form.
  8. Click OK in the Print box. You will return to Print Preview.
  9. Click on Close.


Note: Labels will not print with barcodes unless your printer supports downloading of fonts.  Please see your printer users manual about the fonts supported. See the Installation manual for instruction on how to download fonts to your printer.

Tip: Use the Export Labels function within the Product Maintenance task or Enter Prices for Ad Batch to export the label information to an outside label package.
