The Truncate Log function allows the user to clear out transactions in the POS History Log, Database Error Log and the User Activity Log.  By default the days the user specified through set up determines the length of time log files are kept, but the Truncate Log option allows the user to clear out these log files at any time.

Once you are in View Systems log files, click on Log from the file menu in the toolbar and select the log file to delete.  After the log is loaded to the screen, click on Truncate from the file menu.
