User Activity Log
The User Activity Log tab provides a chronological list of deleted items throughout Retail, with the most recent items at the bottom of the list. The following information is displayed in this tab:
- Employee: The number of the employee who performed this function.
- Date/Time: The time the Deletion was successfully completed.
- Workstation: The workstation used to execute the Deletes.
- Action Performed: The type of Deletes: customer, employee, or products.
- Key Value: The key value or the Deleted item: employee number, customer card number, product UPC.
- Text ID #: The ID can be the employee’s name, the customer’s name, or the product’s UPC.
Whenever you delete an item from the following screens throughout Retail, the system will prompt you for a reason for the deletion:
- Customer Maintenance
- Electronic Coupons
- Product Maintenance
- Employee Maintenance
Note: Use the Truncate Log feature to clear data out of the User Activity Log.
