The WIC Functions section gives the store options for importing WIC files as well as prompting the customer to verify the WIC amount on the PIN pad.


    • Allow Partial Mapping - This indicates if Partial Mapping will be used for APL import files. This is not supported in all states. It is used when stores have not used the standard PLUs when setting up their Products file.

    • Partial Mapping PLU - The PLU that is used to map the non-standard PLUs. Some states used the "Wild Card" PLU 10000000000044691. The entire number must be entered.

    • Print eWIC Cash Value Receipt - Used to print an additional receipt that shows the total WIC value. This is normally only needed when a store is certifying with the WIC Authority.

    • Prompt eWIC Approval - Indicates if customer will be prompted to approve the WIC purchase amount on the PIN pad. If not set then cashier will be prompted on screen.
