The Bottle Deposits fields are used to enter a random weight PLU used for bottle returns. When the PLU is scanned on the Front End, Retail will convert the amount into a tender (BD) and apply this amount to an order, or give this amount to the customer as cash. Bottle Return will show up as a tender in Retail forms such as Till Statistics and Balancing Overview, giving the user an easy way to track how much money was paid out for bottle returns.

You must add the tender in Tender Maintenance. Press Add a Tender. Enter BD as the Tender Code. Enter Bottle Return as the Tender Name. Select CK as the Tender Type. This will enable the cashier to frank the bottle return slip. Enter the Tender Amount max limits. In the Limits Tab, select CA as the change tender and enter the limits.
