Monitor Tills has two functions.  The first is to view till activity for each cashier; the second is to pickup or loan-in tenders for a cashier from the Back Office computer.

From the Administration Icon select the Monitor Tills task.  

    • The Monitor Tills screen displays till activity for each checker by lane number, for each tender that has been selected to view.  The screen refreshes every ten seconds.
    • Seven tenders can be displayed at one time. To deactivate which tenders display in the window click on the Select Tender to MonitorSelect_Tender_to_Monitor button in the toolbar.
    • Only tenders set for monitoring in the Tender Maintenance task will show in this dialogue.
    • To view only active cashiers click on the Active Cashiers OnlyActive_Cashiers_Only checkbox.


 The Pickup and Loan-in function:

  1. Highlight the cashier from the Monitor Till screen.
  2. Click on the Pickup/LoanF96XF8 button from the toolbar.
  3. From the Pickup & Loan-ins dialogue fill in the amounts for each tender for the pickup or loan.
  4. Press the Save & Print button when you have finished filling in the tenders.
  5. View your print out and press OK to the dialogue Did your report print correctly?
  6. After a pickup, if the Checkstand still receives a message that Till Exceeds the Limits, sign-off the cashier and sign back on.


Tips: Use the Currency Conversion Currency_Conversionbutton in the toolbar to convert the currency.

Notes:  The tenders in the Monitor Till screen display in Blue if the tenders are over the tender limit and display in Red if the tender is over the overall maximum limit.  Tender limits are set in the Tender Maintenance task.
