The Monitor Checkstands form provides you with the ability to monitor a cashier in real-time as the cashier is servicing a customer. You can also see a current status of the cashier’s cash drawer and a few cashier statistics.

  1. From the Administration or Point of Sale Menu, click on Monitor Checkstands.
  2. Select the POS Workstation name from the Checkstands drop down list. This is the computer’s name, not the name of the employee.
  3. The left side of the form displays real-time activity for that checkstand (including Employee Name, what the cashier is currently ringing up and current total for the order). The right side of the form displays the current status of the cash drawer and miscellaneous cashier statistics as follows:

       Till Status Dollar Amounts

    • Cash
    • Checks
    • Foodstamps
    • Credit Cards
    • Debit Cards


         Miscellaneous Cashier Statistics

    • Number and Amount of Refunds
    • Number and Amount of Voids
    • Number and Amount of Pickups


  1. The Current Total displays the current transaction total (not including taxes or discounts) for the selected cashier.

Tip:  This form can be particularly helpful in identifying a cashier that needs additional training or has some discrepancies with till reporting.
