Product Kitting allows assignment of multiple products to make up a product kit. The UPC entered on the main product form is the main UPC and identifies the kit. This is the UPC that will be sold at the Front End. When a product kit is sold, the product movement and inventory for the main UPC as well as all UPCs assigned to the kit via the Products Kit button will be updated. The quantity entered for each UPC will be used when updating product movement and inventory.

  1. From the Product Maintenance task enter in the UPC that identifies the Kit.
  2. Click on the Products Kit button in the toolbar and type in the first UPCKit_Item_UPC that is included in the Kit.
  3. In the QuantityQuantity_of_Items_in_Kit field type in the quantity that will be added to the Kit.
  4. Press the AddAdd button.  
  5. Continue for each item that will add to the Kit.
  6. To remove an item from the Kit, highlight the UPC in the Kit Group BoxKit_Group_Box and press Delete.Delete_1
    • Kit Group Box: The list of UPCs assigned to the kit will be displayed after entering.
