PLUM & InterScale Maintenance Settings
Use Scale Maintenance Settings to setup your scale interface.
- Select PLUM: Flag this Radio Button to select PLUM as your scale software.
- Select InterScale: Flag this Radio Button to select InterScale as your scale software.
- PLUM Settings:
- PLUM Caption: The name of the PLUM executable. You do not need a path. For example: PlumStore
- PLUM EXE: Enter the name and path of the Retail batch file that runs PLUM Auto to update the scales automatically without having to manually run PLUM Store. For example: C:\Program Files\Retail\Backend\PLUM.bat
- InterScale Settings:
- AutoScale: Check this option if you're want to send price changes to InterScale, but do not want to maintain any scale data in Retail. Once checked, all the fields on the Scale Item Maintenance form will be grayed out as they will no longer used. Use Import Scale Data to import all the random weight items from the Products table into the Retail scale tables. Uncheck this option if you want to maintain the scale data in Retail and send this along with price changes. Setup the Retail departments to InterScale Service Areas and Import Data from InterScale to populate the Retail scale tables.
- InterScale Server: Enter the Name of the SQL Server for the InterScale database. This option is only used if AutoScale is not flagged, and the database is needed to import scale data into Retail from InterScale.
- InterScale Server User Name: Enter the User Name to connect to the SQL Server for the InterScale database. This option is only used if AutoScale is not flagged, and the database is needed to import scale data into Retail from InterScale.
- InterScale Server Password: Enter the Password used to connect to the SQL Server for the InterScale database. This option is only used if AutoScale is not flagged, and the database is needed to import scale data into Retail from InterScale.
- InterScale Weight: Select LB for Pounds or KG for Kilograms from the drop-down to set the weight that is used by InterScale.
- InterScale Destination: Enter the destination directory where the scale updates to InterScale are sent from Retail. This directory is where InterScale will pickup and process the file.
- InterScale Store Number: Enter the unique store number which is set up in InterScale. This is required by InterScale.
