Terms
The Instore Charge Terms form allows the user to set up different terms for in-store charge customers. This form is accessed via the Customer In-Store Charge Attributes form.
To access the form, click on the Customers Icon in the Main Menu. Click on Instore Charge Maintenance, then Customer Attributes in the Toolbar. Then press the Find button to the right of the Terms field.
The Finance Charge must be initiated by the user (normally monthly) via the Finance Charge form accessed by pressing the “Finance Charge” button in the toolbar.
To create new Terms:
- Press Add. A new Terms IDTerms_ID number will be automatically assigned by Retail.
- Enter the Period Period(days) allowed the customer before payment is due.
- Enter a Description of the In-Store Terms.
- Press Save to save your new terms.
- Press Add to add new terms.
- Press Close to return to Customer In-Store Charge Attributes screen.
